- Account and profile data. When you create an account, we may collect identifiers such as your email address, name (if you provide it), profile image (if you choose one), and authentication details from sign-in providers (for example, Sign in with Apple).
- Content you submit. When you upload or import files (such as documents or text) to generate audio, we process that content to provide the Services. Content may be stored or transmitted through our systems and service providers as needed to convert text to speech, manage your library, and deliver playback.
- Usage and subscription data. We collect information about how you use the Services, such as listening progress, word-usage limits associated with your plan, referral activity, and subscription status. This helps us operate features, enforce fair use, and improve reliability.
- Device and technical data. We may collect device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostic logs, and similar technical information to secure the Services, fix bugs, and understand compatibility.
- Purchases. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, Apple processes payment information. We receive limited information about your subscription (such as product and status) as permitted by Apple’s systems—we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Communications. If you contact us (for example, support requests), we keep the content of those messages and related contact details.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including text-to-audio conversion, library storage, and playback);
- Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Manage subscriptions, usage limits, referrals, and customer support;
- Send service-related messages (such as important account notices) and, where you have opted in, marketing or product updates;
- Comply with law, respond to legal requests, and enforce our terms; and
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to understand how the Services perform.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who assist us on our instructions (for example, cloud hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, notifications, or text-to-speech processing), subject to contractual protections;
- Apple and other platforms when required to deliver in-app purchases, restore purchases, or comply with store policies;
- Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse; and
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets involving Prysm Creative Inc. or the Tambr service, where your information may transfer as part of that transaction (we will notify you as required by law).
4. Storage, retention, and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and your use of the Services.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or receive a copy of certain personal information we hold;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your account or certain data, subject to legal exceptions;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and

You can manage some information in the app (for example, profile details and notification preferences). To exercise other rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request.
6. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. International users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to third-party websites or services. This policy does not apply to those third parties. Their practices are governed by their own policies.
